Let’s discover what your heart likes to be in good condition:
The first thing is the balanced food, so what is a balanced Food?
At all ages of life, our food must provide a caloric intake proportionate to our energy expenditure.
It must also be sufficiently varied and well distributed throughout the day to bring all the nutrients necessary for the proper functioning of our body.
Foods in general can be divided into five main categories:
1- Meat, fish, eggs;
2- Dairy products;
3- Cereal products and starchy foods;
4- Vegetables; And fruits.
So, a balanced Food must include each day at least one item of each category. Water is the only essential drink, without moderation!
The second thing is the regularity of meals:
For a good balanced food, it is advisable, as much as possible, to regularly make 3 meals a day (plus a snack for children, adolescents and the elderly). Do not skip meals avoids cravings!
Having a real breakfast, without too much fat, is essential to start the day well and avoid snacking in the morning.
It is recommended to limit the consumption of alcoholic beverages and the frequency of good meals out of the three already taken.
For indicative purposes, a proportion of 50g per day of meat is sufficient for a child between 4 years to 12, than it will increase to 100g per day for an adult. In general, the quantity of meat must be always lower than the accompaniment (vegetables and starchy)
